What is vaping?

Vaping means using an e-cigarette or vaping device. Both have a heating element that converts liquid into vapor which you then inhale. Vaping liquid comes in many different flavors and nicotine strengths; Some have no nicotine at all.

Is vaping legal?

Many places that ban cigarette smoking indoors have begun to ban e-cigarettes as well. Vaping device are also banned on planes in some areas.

Which is better, vaping vs. smoking cigarettes?

E-cigs are vaping devices; however there is a much bigger range of vaping devices available. These devices, called vape mods, give you more options and allow you to customize your vaping experience.
Vaping devices can have large refillable tanks, better atomizers, and larger batteries. Many have option to adjust the airflow, temperature, power output, and wattage. There are also a lot more flavors and nicotine strengths available for vaporizers than there are for e-cigarettes.

Is vaping cheaper than cigarettes? How much money will I save switching from cigarettes to vaping?

Switching to vaping would mean saving between $155 and $140 a month, or $1680-$1,860 per year for the average American smoker. So, yes vaping is cheaper than cigarettes.

 

What are mods?

A mod generally refers to any vaping device that doesn’t look like a traditional cigarette. Vaping devices that look like cigarettes are called cigalikes.

There are literally thousand of flavors of e-liquids you can buy. Everything from traditional cigarette flavors, drink flavors, fruit flavors, dessert flavors, and just about anything else you can think of.
